On June 30th, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny will be released in theaters.

The first trailer for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny was unveiled on Thursday. It will be released in theaters on June 30, 2023. Harrison Ford will reprise his role as the title character in the film for the fifth time, while Phoebe Waller-Bridge will play his goddaughter. The teaser makes it quite clear that John Williams will be providing the music.

Additionally, it appears like Jones will be sporting his recognizable hat and whip, albeit the latter feels somewhat underpowered. As Indy battles a roomful of goons with his whip, we learn that they are all loaded with weapons, in what feels like a homage to one of the best scenes in the franchise.

The last installment, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, from 2008, is infamous for not being as well-liked as the '80s masterpieces were, but James Mangold, who directed films including Ford v Ferrari, Logan, and 3:10 to Yuma, is the new director for the fifth installment. He should be able to find the ideal balance of nostalgia and novel concepts.
