Ahead of the launch of the iPhone 12, Apple releases iPadOS and iOS 14.1 with a number of bug fixes.
The first significant improvements to the iOS and iPadOS 14 operating system updates, which were launched in September by Apple, were made today. A week after Apple provided developers with the golden master versions of the patches, iOS and iPadOS 14.1 were made available.
Numerous bug fixes are included in iOS 14.1, according to Apple's release notes. Users of the Mail app will be pleased to see the upgrade because it fixes a serious issue that led to some emails being sent from the incorrect alias. It also addresses a flaw in the Calculator app that might prevent zeroes from appearing, as well as a problem that could result in widgets and icons appearing in the incorrect size.
On this Friday's debut iPhone 12 and 12 Pro, iOS 14.1 is anticipated to be installed. Apple has also seeded three beta versions of the iOS 14.2 update to developers and is testing the update for iOS 14.2.
