Facebook Shops, announced by Mark Zuckerberg, would make it simpler for companies to post their products for sale.
Facebook Shops, which will make it simpler for businesses to advertise their products on Facebook and Instagram, was unveiled by CEO Mark Zuckerberg on Tuesday.
According to the company, companies may create product listings on their Facebook Pages, Instagram profiles, Stories, or in advertising using Facebook Shops, which is free. Future versions of Facebook Shops will also let companies sell goods to clients via the messaging services WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram Direct. Additionally, they will be able to tag products during Facebook and Instagram live streams, which will allow viewers to click on the tags and be directed to a buying page for the product.
Businesses could previously display their products on Facebook and Instagram, but Facebook Shops allows them to upload their catalogs only once and make them available on all of Facebook's apps.
