Shrink the Echo in half, cut the power cord and remove the hands-free voice commands and the Amazon Tap is what you get. It's a portable Bluetooth speaker, and still gives you access to Alexa, but reviews say the Amazon Echo is better since the Echo lets you use voice commands to do everything from playing music to calling up an Uber to controlling your lights and thermostat. The price is $130.00 and with a height of 6.2 inches and a diameter of 2.6 inches, the Tap is compact enough to toss into your bag. The Tap only comes in black and if you want a dash of color and a loop, you'll need to buy a Sling Cover for 20$. Included in the box is a wireless charging dock.
